Video Authentication Overview
Media authentication is technology that allows only authorized users to play multimedia content. This is done by assigning access privileges for streaming multimedia content.
If an unauthorized user attempts to access the content, using a path attained through a source file of a Web browser or some other means, the authentication technology verifies that the user’s authentication privilege has changed. It then limits the user’s access to the content, satisfying the needs both of user management and content security.
Cast Network Video CDN aslo employs video security protocols within the bounds of it's CMS Content Management System via specialized modules.

Overview
DRM (Digital Rights Management) is technology used to protect multimedia content delivered via streaming or download. To prevent piracy, the multimedia content provider, or service provider, encrypts the content through a packaging process. When the user replays the multimedia content, it checks the user’s privileges and validity, and after the user has “passed,” issues a license key to decrypt the content.
